RO Membrane Disinfectant Biocide
The RO Membrane Cleaner is idyllically utilized for cleaning RO membranes by removing and dispersing the deposited scale. The cleaner is blended with features such as excellent system clean up, removes silica scale, oil and organic matter and low foaming, precise pH value, easy removal of soil and biodegradable. These cleaners are suitable for water treatment plants, boilers, food processing units, dairies and reverse osmosis systems.
Low pH Membrane Cleaner
Samrat Industries Low pH Membrane Cleaner is a fast acting formulation for cleaning of RO/NF/UF membranes by dissolving and dispersing organic and mineral deposits which primarily comprise of carbonates and sulfates of calcium, barium, stronium and magnesium.
Samrat Industries Low pH Membrane Cleaner is also effective in removing difficult iron scales, metal oxide deposits as well as silicates and colloidal clay.

Application and Dosage
Samrat Industries Low pH Membrane Cleaner should be diluted with DM or RO permeate water to prepare a stock solution of 2-5%v/v. This solution should be re-circulated through the membranes for 2-4 hours (including a soak time of 30-60mins) and flush out the system with DM or permeate water till equal pH is achieved at both ends of pass. For detailed cleaning procedure, please refer the Procedure Sheet provided.
Note: Shake the container well before use. Replace the solution with new one if the cleaning solution becomes severely fouled and turbid. In multi-pass systems, best results can be achieved if each pass is individually cleaned
For severely fouled or choked membrane a higher concentration upto 10% v/v should be used after cleaning with ALKRO CL27 (High pH membrane cleaner).
Handling measures and precautions
Proper human safety products such as Splash goggles, lab coat, vapor respirator,gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected.

Samrat Industries High pH Membrane Cleaner is an alkaline liquid product for cleaning of contaminants like oils,organic compounds, silica scales and biological slimes and films from RO/NF/UF membranes.
Samrat Industries High pH Membrane Cleaner also contains organic dispersants that helps to break down colloidal clay deposits and imparts better efficacy to biocides by penetrating into films.

Ro Membrane Preservative
RO Membrane Preservative is required for enabling a unused membrane not to get oxidized if left out. The membrane can either be dipped in a solution of membrane preservative or can be filled inside and soaked.

RO Dechlorination Chemical
Samrat Industries Ro Dechlorination Chemical is an excellent RO feed water de-chlorinator. It is a concentrated liquid for the elimination of residual chlorine prior to the ro membrane system.
This is necessary because some membrane materials such as tfc membranes can be irreversibly damaged by the presence of strong oxidizing agents such as chlorine.

Application and Dosage
Dosage varies with amount of chlorine present in water and contact time. Minimum recommended dosage is 3ppm and maximum dosage is 15ppm. Samrat Industries Ro Dechlorination Chemical should be dosed as close to the ro system as possible (to keep as much of the pre-treatment as possible in contact with chlorine - e.g. cartridge filters). However, If the free chlorine level is high, then Samrat Industries ro dechlorination chemical should be dosed prior to the dosing of antiscalant injection point (or antiscalant dosage increased to compensate for chlorine attack, since antiscalants are attacked by chlorine).
The Antiscalant And Samrat Industries Ro Dechlorination Chemical Dosing Point Should Be Far Enough Apart To Prevent Neat Product Mixing (THEY Can often Be Mixed When Diluted Correctly, But Ph Differences of The Neat Products Can Cause Problems).
