Coolant Corrosion Inhibitor
Samrat Industries COOLANT CORROSION INHIBITOR is a specially formulated (nitrite free) chemical additive for Mono Ethylene Glycol to protect system metals from corrosion. It is a multi-metal corrosion inhibitor and prevents corrosion in multi-ways.
Samrat Industries COOLANT CORROSION INHIBITOR modifies metal surface by absorption and making it less susceptible to corrosion. It buffers the organic acids formed as a result of glycol oxidation and prevents further formation of acids. Samrat Industries COOLANT CORROSION INHIBITOR protects the metal surface from corrosion without reducing the system\92s heat transfer efficiency.
Mono Ethylene Glycol oxidizes when exposed to air and heat. When this occurs, five organic acids viz., Glycolic, Glyoxalic, Formic, Carbonic and Oxalic Acid are formed. If not properly inhibited, this fluid gets very corrosive. These organic acids then chemically attacks and corrodes the system metal, causing pitting, pinhole and stress cracking corrosion.
Samrat Industries COOLANT CORROSION INHIBITOR is added to Ethylene Glycol to act as buffer, preventing low pH attack on the metals. It also passivates the metal surface to protect them from corrosion.

Molybdenum Disulphide
Description :
Molybdenum Disulphide (MOS2) has gained popularity as a solid lubricant and grease because of its low frictional properties and robustness. It generally appears as dark gray to black powder. It is comparatively non reactive and remain unaffected from dilute acids and oxygen. It finds use in the air craft engines where it can retain its lubricity even in case of complete oil losses. MOS2 forms a composite with increased strength and reduced friction incase of addition to plastics. Molybdenum Disulphide can be utilized in construction, transportation, mining, agricultural and industries. It possesses a hexagonal lattice structure which gives it low friction and excellent adherence to most metals surface. Molybdenum disulfide is thermally stable in vacuum or inert environments.
